May 17, 1943 – Monday

We didn’t have much to do again today. They bombed Bone again last night. I did a few odd jobs around the supply room and then did my washing and then after supper climbed up to the top of the mountain. It was really rugged and the rocks were steep, sharp and hard to get around on. I went down and washed off in the crick, wrote a few letter and went to bed. I went on guard from 2 to 5.
