Well, tomorrow is the day. I’m pretty well up into shape on my books and records. We got rained out of our ball game for this evening. Spent my evening at the same place.

About the same as yesterday except we played ball in the afternoon in the tournament. We won 4 to 2. Pretty good game. Lore and I went for a short walk and then played some cards.

Well, I have to get all of my books into shape as we are having an inspection Thursday. Worked hard all day. Played ball and went to see Lore in the evening.

Lore and I went on a picnic up in the mountains. We really had fun. Came home, wrote a couple of letters and went to bed.

Got ready for inspection this morning. The Col. came, but he talked about the ball team and didn’t even look around. We played a tournament ball game this afternoon and won 8 to 2. Went over to get a couple … Continue reading →

Not much to do today. Worked on my records most of the day. Played a ball game and I pitched . It was a no hit no run ball game. Took a bath and went over to Lore’s.
