Not much to do today. Worked on my records most of the day. Played a ball game and I pitched . It was a no hit no run ball game. Took a bath and went over to Lore’s.
May 31, 1945 – Thursday
Back to work today. Just odd jobs to do but they keep you going. Played ball, and went out as usual.

Today is Decoration day, so it’s a holiday. Layed around all day. Should have wrote letters but didn’t. Played a game of ball. Went over to Lore’s.
