April 25, 1945 – Wednesday

A4P70-4-600We were up at 3 am and back out on the road again. We crossed the Danube. They really had the ack ack covering the bridge. We pulled into a little town as it was as far as we could go. We are headed for Augsburg. They dropped a few shells in but none too close. We set up the radio and listened to the news. Found us a house to sleep in and went to bed.
