Worked all day. Kept pretty busy. It’s not hard work but it’s surely monotonous. Cleaned up in the evening, wrote a few letters and went out.

Worked all morning and played the 15th infantry in the afternoon. We won 7 to 2. Came home, took a bath and went to see Lore in the evening.

Blue Monday. It has been raining all day and I doubt if it stops. Not much to do so I wrote a few letters. Spent my evenings the same as always.

Didn’t get to go on a picnic today as it rained. We played cards just about all day and I won $45.00. Went over to Lore’s early and we went for a walk.

The old Saturday inspections. We’re in good shape so I doubt if they even come around. Played a tournament ball game and got beat by the 30 Infantry 2 to 1. Surely a tough game to lose. Wrote some letters … Continue reading →
