I am curious to know if the photos shown with a diary entry are from approximately the same time. The reason for the question is that the M4 Sherman shown in the picture associated with 27 Oct 44 is a very early production model (small driver’s hatches, vision slots on the 47 degree front glacis plate and three piece transmission cover).
Yes, The photo albums are pretty chronological and I try and post photos as close to the time line as possible. In some cases, when there are no photos from that time period, I look for previous interesting photos that have not been used to fill in for that day.
