Dear Mother & Dad;
Just a few lines to let you know I’m OK. I still haven’t had much time to write to anyone. Tell them all hello and as soon as I find time I will write them. Maybe by this Sunday I will have time. Boy right now \I’m just as filthy as I can be. One good thing I’m good and tan so the dirt doesn’t show, ha ha. Just think yesterday was my birthday and tomorrow is yours. You should have seen the way I spent my birthday. I hope you had a much better time than I did. I’ll make up for it one of these days. I hope you received my card on time.
