I think we will give up getting any supplies in so I am going to town. Olson and I really had a swell time. First we went through the old city and then ate dinner. You cant get allot to eat hear so we had six eggs a piece. After dinner we went to an American show, which was free. We saw “Untamed” it was pretty good. After that we went to the USO and had good old American coffee & doughnuts. We caught a giddy uppy and rode around for a while and then went shopping. We then ate supper and I had chicken. It was sure a treat compared with hash & stew all of the time. When we got home, we got in on a drawing and I received a candy bar, some kids got a carton of cigarettes, but I’m glad I got the candy. It has been about two months since I had a good candy so I just babied that Hershey bar along. I was sure good. At night, Olson & I beat Wellman & Badali again.
