I left the first thing in the morning to go see “Snook”. I was lucky I caught the 4 ton going down to Santa Maria after our cat. It went right by the place “Snook” was at. We talked all morning and the Captain gave him a pass for the afternoon. We went in to Capua. We walked all over the town and went into a couple of bars. Had a steak and potatoes in one joint some Daffey “doggies” showed us. I left to go home at 4:00 o’clock. Most of the trucks were full going toward the front so it took me about an hour and a half to get home. Went to a double feature show and then went to bed.
