March 18, 1945 – Sunday
Went to mass this morning at 9:30. Coon and I went to Nancy on pass. Went to the show, then down to the Red Cross to get some doughnuts and coffee. Played some cards.
March 17, 1945 – Saturday
Read, write, and play cards is all there is to do. Went for a walk in the park. Jr. and I went up to the Red Cross.
March 16, 1945 – Friday
Not much to do today. Played cards. Took a shower and went to the show tonight.
March 15, 1945 – Thursday
Asked the doc how much longer we would be in here. He said two more weeks any way. Wrote some letters. Still got to stay in. They think my cold is bad. Ha, ha, if they only knew.
