May 21, 1945 – Monday
Same old thing over and over. Work, work, work. I never will get caught up. When it comes time to write letters I’m not in the mood so I don’t write. Went over to see Lore tonight.
May 20, 1945 – Sunday
Slept late this morning. In the afternoon Moma and Lore and I went on a picnic up in the mountains. Really had a swell time. Got home about 10 o’clock and went to bed.

Inspection today with the afternoon off. I still had to work. Went to the show in the evening and then over to the Strouses.

Still have a lot of work to do on my property book. Should get them into shape in a couple of days. Practiced ball and I went to a show. Had some coffee.
