We were to move back today but we had a little extra work to do so we are moving tomorrow morning. Wrote some letters and went to bed.
November 9, 1944 – Thursday
There is just a few squads out working as there is little to do. We loaded our trucks and got them ready to move back. We played some cards and I wrote a couple of letters.

November 7, 1944 – Tuesday
We got in some more clothes today so we issued them out. A couple of German planes came over straffing. One was shot down. It snowed again today.
November 6, 1944 – Monday
We issued out some boot packs today. Kept us busy all day long. We played some cards tonight. I won a little bit of dough.
November 5, 1944 – Sunday
I wish I could get to a church some place, but there is no towns and no trucks around to take me. Wrote a few letters and went to bed.
