About the same as yesterday. Received a couple of packages from home, and a few letters. Got a truck and went to a show.
July 17, 1944 – Monday
Laid around most of the day, it’s so hot. Wrote a few letters and slept a little. We had some P.X. and I got my Rations and then went to a show.
