The Company went out to put the foot bridge across the river. They stayed out all night and didn’t put it up at all. The Company layed around all day so we had little to do. Wrote a few letters.

November 16, 1944 – Thursday
About the same as yesterday. Wrote letters and went to a show. We had a small party tonight. We ate some of the things we had been saving from our Christmas packages.
November 15, 1944 – Wednesday
Not much to do today. Just a few odd jobs to do. Wrote a few letters and played some cards. Lost my money so I went to the show.
November 14, 1944 – Tuesday
I worked on my requisitions all day. Went to the show again.
November 13, 1944 – Monday
We issued more clothes today and I also had to work on my books. Kept busy all day. Went to the show in the evening. Wasn’t a bad show.
