May 25, 1945 – Friday

Some Battalion officers came over to look my books over. They were in good shape though. Did a few other odd jobs. Played some ball and went over to see Lore. Came home early and went to bed.

May 24, 1945 – Thursday

Went down to Battalion to pick up some clothes. Did a few other odd jobs. Played another ball game and we won 3 to 1. Took a bath and wrote a letter home. Went over to see Lore.

May 21, 1945 – Monday

Same old thing over and over. Work, work, work. I never will get caught up. When it comes time to write letters I’m not in the mood so I don’t write. Went over to see Lore tonight.

May 20, 1945 – Sunday

Slept late this morning. In the afternoon Moma and Lore and I went on a picnic up in the mountains. Really had a swell time. Got home about 10 o’clock and went to bed.
