July 13, 1945 – Friday
Worked around the supply room. Was told to get ready that I was going home the 17th of July. We are going to fly. We are still restricted. Played some cards and wrote a couple of letters.
July 12, 1945 – Thursday
We cleaned up everything good today. Keep ourselves busy all day. Had to make a few trips to battalion. Wrote some letters and played cards.

Worked all day doing odd jobs and making out certificates. Had an inspection by the Col. and all of us got giged so we are restricted till Saturday. There wasn’t anything to do anyway. We played cards in the evening. … Continue reading

Worked all day. In the evening went out for a ride and went to the Red cross. Came home early and wrote some letters.

Worked in the supply in the morning and wrote letters all afternoon. In the evening I went for a walk around the town and stopped in the Red Cross on the way home.
