We worked pretty hard all day today, loading the tractors with wood, issuing out clothes etc, etc. We played Hg. Co. a ball game and it was a slugging fest. We finally won 7 to 6. I got 3 hits and a walk in 4 trips to the plate. Pretty good for me as I haven’t been hitting at all. Melgard & I and Weichert played till bed time and then I went to bed.
