Old Jerry kinda livened up a bit last night and counter attacked. Our artillery soon put a stop to it. The 36 Div. is now moving onto the beach head, getting ready for the push. Not much to do today, everyone just waiting. We played the 81 Recon, “C” Co. a ball game and won 5 to 4. Pretty good game. I played a little cards and went to bed.
