"Red Cross Girl"

“Red Cross Girl”

Yesterday was thanksgiving and we had Turkey.  But the day was just another day.  Today we are to have a Red Cross girl come out and give us doughnuts.  The doughnuts were good too.  It is still raining and the mud is getting worse.  Some of the fellows are coming down with a “trench feet” because of never having a chance to dry their shoes.  Towslee and I played chess again tonight and I won.  Lucky me
