Nov 21, 1942 – Saturday

It sure was a pretty day today and tonight it is just as pretty.  It is a full moon tonight.  Boy how I would love to be back in the states and be out ridding and listening to the radio.  We are playing records now so it brings back memories.  Not much doing today.  We had a rifle inspection and I had to get a shortage  report in.  I played some catch just before chow and after chow we played football.  I came in and took a sponge bath or a whores bath as we call it.  It will soon be time for me to crawl into my knap sack and go to bed.  I have my mosquito net fixed up now so the mosquitoes stay away.  I had some champagne tonight.  It didn’t taste bad.  Well good night.
