Nov 18, 1942 – Wednesday

It rained most of the night last night and was a little cloudy today.  We and to issue out a few things in the supply room and then I cleaned the place up.  After dinner Red Kesterson & I went fishing.  We did it on the illegal side but we still didn’t get any fish.  The serf was to strong and we couldn’t tell whether there were any fish in the water or not.  We had prima cord and was going to blast them out.  We tried it a couple of times but there wasn’t any fish around.  It sure is pretty to see the it waves come in over the reefs.  Guess we will go up and get a little wine tonight.
