March 27, 1943 – Saturday

Today was just as bad as yesterday. We are pretty ready to move and so I was running over to the Battalion supply all day. In the evening I went back out to the range. Boy did we have fun this evening. We have big charges all fixed. We the set the Bangalore off and started through the hole we let them have it. When we finished they were so scared that they just wouldn’t move. The changes were so strong that it would lift you off of the ground each time one change went off. We didn’t get home till twelve again.
