Letter Home – March 27, 1944

19440327-Lscan-600My Dear Mother & Dad,

Just a line to let you know I’m OK and still working pretty hard. I know I should write more often but we are pretty busy all of the time and I haven’t had a chance to write to anyone so when you see some of the people that I write to tell them hello and I’ll write them the first chance I get. There is still little too right about here and your mail is coming in swell. I’m glad that you have heard from me. Had a letter from Snook, he said he had a couple of boxes of candy and wished that I could come over but as usual it is too hard to get over to him. Will get to see him one of these days. You can send me some caramel and candy bars if you can get them. Goodbye and I love you both.

Your Son
“Chick”
