Letter Home – December 10, 1944

19441210-Lscan-600Dear Mother & Dad

Here it is Sunday and time I should write you both a letter. I had a letter from ‘Gee’ & she said that you have received my pictures. Boy have I ever been sweating those pictures out. I thought I had lost them as I had never heard whether they had arrived home or not. I have about six rolls getting develop now so it won’t be long and I’ll send them home.

I went to mass this morning & Communion also. It surely brings back memories of home to go into a good church and listen to good singing. Funny here, the women sit on one side & the men on the other. Mail is slow coming in now, but the packages seem to be coming in okea. This is all I have to say in now so I’ll say good by.

Lots of love

Your Son
“Chick”
