19440529-Lscan-600Dear Mother,

I have a little time now so I will drop you a line. Sorry that I do not have more time to write at the present, I’m kept pretty busy. I am fine and in good health. I received the clipping in Gee’s letter. Boy, Pat surely laid it on plenty thick, ha ha. I just about died laughing when I read it. I know you both have been worrying about me, but it can’t be helped, I write every chance I get. Tell everyone hello, and that I will write to them in the near future. Good by two you both & I love you from the bottom of my heart.

Your Son,
“Chick”
