June 9, 1943 – Wednesday

We left at 7:15 AM this morning and really had a rugged ride. It was very hot and dusty. We came back to Bizerte a different route than we left it and I didn’t enjoy it much for the dust. We arrived here about 8 PM. Milpond and I pitched tents and went right to bed. Boy I was sure tired and so was he.
