Jan 4, 1943 – Monday

Still no supplies. Boy I’ll be glad when they do get here. I have to go on guard tonight, but I don’t mind. I think we will try to go to town tomorrow. We signed the payroll today and we still got partial pay. We also got some V-Mail letters today to send home. We sure don’t need money as just about every thing is free. I think I will write some letters and then go on guard. I am only on from 7 to 11:15.
